Do you ever think back to the first time you heard a phrase? What you thought it meant and how it sounded when it rolled off the speaker’s tongue? And even though everyone who speaks the language understands what’s being said, we each have a different picture of it in our mind, because of that first time we heard it, and the memories we’ve associated with it over the years.

Today I was talking to someone in my class and another person interrupted them and they just really casually yelled, “I WAS TALKING TO STEPH, AND YOU TOTALLY JUST KANYE’D ME RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SENTENCE.” which made me want to talk to them a lot more.
